Naruto to the RescueNaruto

A new addition to the Terronez collection is the manga series Naruto. In volume 1, Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto, begins the action-packed manga saga of a twelve-year-old boy undergoing the tests of the ninja in his home village. He is a showoff, a klutz, and an unpopular young man, yet hidden within him is a terrible power – a nine-tailed fox demon that once claimed the life of the village’s greatest champion. Cleverly written and wonderfully drawn, Naruto doesn’t fail to deliver in the action department, yet offers a strong dose of comedy, making this journey extremely enjoyable. So, all you anime fans make sure you check out Naruto from the Terronez Library Media Center.

The winners from each bracket then compete in the championship “battle.”

Throughout the year, our Battle of Books club practices and competes in mini competitions against one another to prepare for the competition against other schools.
